I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Uncommon Schools (Brooklyn, NY) in Jun 2017
Interview
The interview process was from 9 am-12pm. I walked into a group of 4 other candidates and asked to complete a list of questions on a laptop and then given an individual time to interview. The questions were very much aligned to social work practice and typical crisis situations that may arise in a school setting. The School Director asked many case scenario questions and asked to model a role play regarding social media and bullying.

I applied online. I interviewed at Uncommon Schools (Brooklyn, NY)
Interview
I applied online and was contacted the following day to come in for an interview. I waoted almost 3 hours to meet with the recruiter only to be told that 2 of the SSW positions were filled and that it's likely the 3rd one is as well. He suggested that I go for another position (that makes less and not in alignment with what I want to do). That was the such a disheartening experience and a waste of time..
