I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Uncommon Schools (Brooklyn, NY)
Interview
The process took about a month. I had a 30 minute phone interview and two in-person interviews. The first in-person was about 2.5 hours that tested your skill level (excel, word, efficiency) along with a verbal interview with two team members. The second in person interview was about an hour long and was interviewed by two team members as well. Overall, this was a good experience. The team seemed really nice and the recruiter was super helpful and transparent. I was not offered a position but this was a good experience nonetheless.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Uncommon Schools (Brooklyn, NY) in Sep 2017
Interview
I initially applied in August and received an email about 1 week later about setting up a phone interview. After rescheduling a few times, the phone interview landed me an in person interview 1 week later. The interview was what they call "immersion days" which lasted about 3 hours, due to a skills test, and then a traditional interview. About 1 month later, I was then emailed to come in for a 2nd interview with another team member. 2 days later, I was asked for my references and then received a call for an offer 1 month. It took a few months for a final decision but all in all, I enjoyed the experience.
