Interview
First, you go into a room for breakfast with all of the other candidates. A leader from the Diversity Team briefs everyone on the day. Then, you observe a classroom. You learn exactly what they are expecting you to implement into your sample lesson and eventually be able to do as a teacher there. Then the principal models a teaching taxonomy that you must implement into your sample lesson. You get 2 minutes to change any part of your lesson and then you present in front of the other candidates and 2 principals. Then you have an individual interview and wrap up the day with any last questions. You must be adaptable and flexible! They give in the moment feedback throughout the entire experience.

Had a group zoom interview with one of the more senior teachers. He asked us a bit about why we were interested in the position and had us demo a lesson plan to get an idea of our teaching style.

It is a multi step process. A little selective but overall fairly easy. Starts with the application, sending your documents, the initial interview, & finally, the final interview before you’re emailed about an offer.
I did a demo lesson and the. Had a one on one interview and then recieved an email stating I got the position. After the program I got offered a job at one of their schools.
