The interview process consisted of three steps (phone screen, assessment, and 4-5 hours long immersion day type interview) and it took about 4 weeks to complete. Since everything is remote due to COVID-19, I had a phone screen with HR, completed a job-related assessment a week later, and was invited for an immersion day interview. I wasn't given too much information about how the immersion day was structured, but knew that there was going to be job-related tasks involved that they asked you to perform independently. The day of the interview, I was asked to complete two separate tasks (30 minutes each) and had a debrief of each task with different interviewers. I heard back fairly quickly that they were not able to move me forward in the process.
The interview process was extremely long and all of this was done because they want to find the 'perfect' candidate to fill the position. For example, the assessment tasks you were asked to perform an analysis during the interview, the interviewers expect spot-on, 100% accuracy analysis within the 30 minutes time frame you were given.
Another flag for another who is considering working here is that it doesn't seem that teams value professional development/growth or they are not as inclined to train you when you're officially a staff.
So, when you apply for a position at this organization, make sure that you carefully review the job description, because it's not about fit, rather it's about whether you have direct experience of each bullet they outline in the job description. I don't think that they believe in/consider transferrable skills and organizational fit when they select candidates.
