I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UniFirst (Nashville, TN) in Dec 2013
Interview
Applied online. Called and did a phone interview by the GM. He informed me the branch manager was out but they wanted to speak with me quickly. He told me I would get a follow up call by the branch manger the following week when he got back in. I was able to do a face to face interview the following week with branch manager. I was given a "survey" to go around to local businesses to ask about their current uniform programs. I had to have that done before meeting with the GM the week after. The following week I met with the GM and we went over what I found out doing the survey. I took a personality test Christmas and NYE.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me when you had a difficult sale and still made it?
Very straight forward and transparent. The process was very convenient. Although, there was not much negotiation for what you could receive compensation wise. They are stuck with what they can offer for a Sales Representative.
I applied online. I interviewed at UniFirst in Aug 2024
Interview
Very relaxed atmosphere hiring manager was easy to talk to she was straight forward with job description explained in detail what the job would be hours and rate of pay did not touch how commission worked in detail or benefits ( health vision dental )
Setup interview for about a week out. Got several confirmation emails and texts. On the day and time of, received a call from the recruiter only to tell me "Well we have several other applicants on the line so I'm not going to interview you until they decide tomorrow. I'll let you know sometime tomorrow." EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL WAY TO HANDLE APPLICANTS. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. WON'T BE MOVING FORWARD.
