Basically you have people that are scared to lose their job not trying to hire a superstar because if they hire someone too good they will have to fear for their job because of how the culture works in sales-driven micro managed consumer banking now. I would suggest going to work for a larger bank because Union is just becoming another Wells Fargo and at least with a WF you know what to expect.
