I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Uniqlo (London, England) in Sep 2008
Interview
The phone interview consisted of some basic questions -- interest in fashion, experience etc.
The Personality Test/ Presentation was basically you and nine other people in a room discussing 10 points of good customer service and 10 bad points and then presenting. One store manager will be over-seeing. he will pick two or three people from that group based on how you interact with others and how you dress as well as your knowledge of customer service. if you make the cut, you'll get to the 1:1 interviews, which will test things like competitor knowledge, product knowledge and general love of uniqlo. success is dependent on knowledge, not confidence.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Uniqlo
Interview
Quite a relaxed chatting session. Interviewed with the store manager and 2 other candidates. The store manager was easy-going and friendly so I was not that nervous. Was a quick one - I think the whole process took around 15-20 minutes.
