Four stage hiring process. First stage is a telephone interview, very basic questions, a basic understanding of the Uniqlo brand is required.
Second stage is a group activity. The room (around 12 people) is divided into two groups, each given a task and asked to present to the other group (who pretend to be Board of Directors). The task resolves around a low performing store and group members must come up with suggestions to improve the store. Be sure to mention 'cleanliness' or related improvements - the presenter said this was the top priority.
Third stage is an individual interview. Starts off with a few motivational questions (What is your understanding of Uniqlo? Why Uniqlo?). Then mostly behavioral questions (Name a period of change and how did you respond? What is a goal you have set and how did you achieve it?).
Did not reach fourth stage (final interview).
