The breakroom was pretty much a cafeteria for the staff. The waiting was longer than your actual interview. The HR person was late by 30 mins. There were about 20 people and we were brought to a basement in a building next door. The HR person was Hannah McKay. She was the only one who interviewed us. (5th Ave, 53rd St location) We had to fill out an application. Don't forget to bring your resume. Also, they emphasized heavily on open availability for Saturdays & Sundays. If you can't work those days, your chance of getting hired is most likely 0. Surprisingly, there was no group interview. It was just an individual interview. Everyone had to wait their turn and everyone can hear your response as the room was quite small. Almost everyone said something similar. Just do quick Wiki search on Uniqlo. Memorize some basic history like when the first store was opened and where etc. You don't need to know everything. After everyone was interviewed, we all left together. She didn't call anyone else to stay back. Just simply told all of us that if we were hired, we would get an email by the end of the week. Typically, if they hold you after everyone else has left it usually means you were hired on the spot. Anyways, I was somewhat nervous. But just don't forget to lighten up a bit and be human. Just be likable and you will do fine. [I am writing this 3 hours after the interview concluded. So none of us have received an offer yet.]
