I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in Mar 2016
Interview
I applied online and got an email the next day inviting me to take the video interview. They send you a link and give you 5 days to complete it. I did mine on the last day. It's not too bad, like talking to yourself in the mirror (but don't look at yourself the whole time.) Dress well and smile for it, make sure they can see you, etc. Use your practice questions. They give you 3 practice questions you can do as many times as you want but you may or may not get those in the interview. I messed up on one question but did relatively well I think. Enough for them to invite me to a F2F. I got an email telling me to call to schedule before i certain date. I waited until the day before and scheduled it for March 3rd.
I wasn't able to make the F2F and it was too late to reschedule, so I'm out of the running. Good luck to all of you!

Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
