I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in May 2016
Interview
As stated the United interview process is pretty blunt.Did my video interview about three days later I was invited to do a ftf in Newark Nj. I was considered local since I live in Philadelphia I left my house around 515 am and arrived in Newark at 7 am I payed for basic parking which was 14 and a shuttle bus picked me up and transported me to the airport. After clearing security I arrived at C gate 132 there was already a large group of about 25 sitting there chatting. Everyone was real friendly at 9 am 6 recruiters came out and told us we would be taking a bus to private area of the airport once there we were given name tags and checked in. Then all of us where escorted to a room with a brief power point of the company and what to expect. After that the waiting game started I was like the 13 or 14 th person to be called so it was a good 2 hour wait during that time I chatted with other candidates. When my name was called I was escorted to another room for my one on one the interview was about 20 minutes long I felt like I did great the women who interviewed me was very nice we even chatted about the weather. Well she said we have everything we need this will get passed to the hiring department to review everything. As I walked down that long hall I was hoping she was going to take me into another room unfortunately that did not happen and after reading reviews we all know what that means. Even though they give you the whole 5-7 day speech that is not true. I know this because I exchanged numbers with one of the girls and she was offered that day. In general it was a great experience United staff was very polite but I think they fail to realize candidates who walk in there know the deal. If you don't make it to the second interview Chances are it's a no. So I guess I will wait for that sad rejection letter.
Good luck to everyone

I passed the process until the virtual interview where I received the tbnt 2 days later I wish they could give us some tips about the things we should improve or reasons for not being chosen, I would love to improve myself on whatever the reason for not passing but overall a really good interview
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
