I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at United Airlines in May 2016
Interview
I first received a congratulations email & was instructed to partake in online video interview. My link for some reason would open to a blank page. Since instructions stated that I had 5 days to complete it, I ended up contacting recruiting department to advise them of received online error. I was then sent another invite with a link that worked this time around. Video starts, there is an introductory video portion, then you may choose to either practice or start your actual interview. I did practice & it did state that " they do not save nor keep the practiced interview takes" and based on that comforting feedback, I did partake in the practice interview. When I felt ready, I started my actual interview which contained not more then 5 questions. It was a bit awkward speaking to nothing but I just pictured myself speaking to an actual person sitting across from me & I was fine. When I finished the interview, I received an email letting me that my interview was complete & that a representative from United Airlines will be contacting me shortly. That was on May 6th, 2016 & as of yet I have not received any email from United. Based on most feedback from other potential FA applicants, I might not have been chosen to interview for a face to face interview but I would like to stay optimistic, I never know what could happen.
