I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in May 2016
Interview
I applied online and heard back the next day. They ask you to go to a website, "HireVue" and you take a video of yourself answering the questions in the STAR method which is pretty much about Situations, Tasks, Answer, Review... (I think thats what it is?) but. I passed that and about 4-5 days later I heard back from the company asking me to schedule a group/face to face interview. I scheduled mine a week later in Newark, NJ. I flew in from Chicago. There were about 25 of us, a good assortment of both men and women, too. Definitely wasn't expecting as many guys as they had show up to the group! (because of what I've read on here). Also, I just have to say... They might have recently just changed the way they go about interviewing potential candidates?... We didn't do any group activities or small group exercises like mentioned in other reviews here. The whole interview was only about 30 minutes long talking to a flight attendant in the field. They didn't say anything besides that they would contact me in 5 to 7 business days if they were interested in moving on in the training process with me. So. I'm not sure what that says considering I've read a lot of people usually get hired the same day and have a second interview? I only had one interview so I don't know what to say other than I'm just going to hope for the best from here out. Good luck with your interviews! DO YOU RESEARCH. Come prepared. Dress appropriately.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you think you'd be a good fit as a flight attendant for us besides the fact that you like to travel?

I passed the process until the virtual interview where I received the tbnt 2 days later I wish they could give us some tips about the things we should improve or reasons for not being chosen, I would love to improve myself on whatever the reason for not passing but overall a really good interview
I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
