I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in Jun 2016
Interview
Applied online Sun. June 5.
Email received from United Mon. June 6 that my application had been forwarded for review.
Email received Tue. June 7 for HireVue video interview.
Wed. June 8 submitted my video submission- about an hour ago
Waiting to hear if I'm accepted for f2f.
I spent my ENTIRE day yesterday reading here and on Indeed (which I suggest looking at as well. There's tons of helpful information forum style) in preparation for the video. It really is not difficult. Like others have mentioned, unless you regularly make videos and are used to looking at/talking to yourself, you feel kind of awkward. I think mentally it's easy to make yourself nervous wanting to do it correctly.
Do the practice test until you are completely comfortable. Once you begin the interview it will give you a 30 second countdown and then a 3, 2, 1 live. Answer to the best of your ability. Once you submit the answer it provides you a break until you click "next question" That's helpful.
I prepared myself as much as mentally possible. I made my replies to all the questions listed on Glassdoor so that I could reference them if they were selected. It didn't do me any good LOL. I psyched myself out by trying to rush and find them (mind you I found 10 or 11 of them) and add to not trying to make it obvious that I'm referencing. My advice; if you're going to make notes to prepare yourself, keep them fairly short and to the point. Sprinkle with a bit of pizzaz and a smile and voila! I feel like I maybe made my notes a little too lengthy (even though they were probably 3-5 sentences) and wasn't able to really reply in a "natural" way. Not sure how I think I did, so now I wait.

Interview
I passed the process until the virtual interview where I received the tbnt 2 days later I wish they could give us some tips about the things we should improve or reasons for not being chosen, I would love to improve myself on whatever the reason for not passing but overall a really good interview
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
