I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at United Airlines (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2016
Interview
On the evening of 6/5 I applied for the position through the United website. On 6/6, I received an email that my resume was forwarded to Inflight Services Recruiting for review and on 6/7, I received an email for the HireVue Interview! I took the next day to research some questions on here and write down some scenarios to everything I found. I practiced for a while just speaking out loud. I'm a very outgoing person so its much easier for me to talk to people than it is for me to talk to a camera. However, I have done multiple HireVue interviews and I felt more relaxed on this one. To help me feel comfortable, I did the interview dressed from the waist up in my pajama shorts! I wore a black suit jacket, tan shirt, nice necklace, hair in a bun because its long and my normal everyday make up which includes foundation, eyeliner and mascara. I was in a nicely lit office space so they could see me well and made sure no one was home so I would not be disturbed or have background noise. The interview itself was not bad at all. There is a video in the beginning, make sure and watch that. It gave me a good feel what they were looking for. I would strongly advise utilizing the practice questions, calmed my initial nerves. READ THESE REVIEWS CAREFULLY AND GATHER EVERY QUESTION YOU SEE!! Every question I received in the interview is exactly what I found on here so I felt like I was extra prepared. I feel confident. My only concern is if I did well enough to portray my personality across a camera. I'm still currently waiting to hear back, so fingers crossed!!
