I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines in Jun 2016
Interview
I applied for United. A week later I got an email for a video interview. I felt I did really good but I did bomb one of the questions. Didn't think I was going to hear back. A few days later I got another email for a F2F interview, which I had today. Everything went well. Everyone was so nice. From the recruiters to the ppl that was interviewing for the job. They told us that we would hear back in 5-7 days through email...*fingers crossed *
5 Step process, several stages of vetting. Application, assessment, pre-recorded interview, live virtual interview, in person interview. Hardest was in person interview. Practice STAR format. They check to make sure you pass the tattoo requirements several times throughout. Also valid passport as well as background check and DOT drug test.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
