The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at United Airlines in Jun 2016
Interview
Filled out the application June 19th received the email to do the video interview June 21st completed the video interview June 25th I was extremely nervous but I know I did well as long as you study the questions on Glassdoor you should be good I studied extremely hard but unfortunately I just got the email saying that they did not choose me I did everything I was supposed to do even with the way I dressed and everything that I was supposed to be doing in the interview I smiled I answer the questions I gave my examples, but everything is for a reason but even if you don't get chosen don't stop pushing just continue to keep going this is a great experience and you can't do anything but get better from here good luck to everyone
5 Step process, several stages of vetting. Application, assessment, pre-recorded interview, live virtual interview, in person interview. Hardest was in person interview. Practice STAR format. They check to make sure you pass the tattoo requirements several times throughout. Also valid passport as well as background check and DOT drug test.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
