The interview process took about a week. I applied on September 6th, received an email on September 8th to complete an online video interview with HireVue within 7 days of receiving email. Completed my video interview on September 11th. Follow-up email stated that a Representative with United Airlines will contact me about the next steps. A few key pointers when taking the interview: Try to mimick what they wear such as the colors. Study how they dress and wear their makeup. It is very important to dress professionally such as a white button up, black or blue blazer, hair pinned and out of your face, natural makeup with a fresh face, make sure you wear lipstick! This is very important, as you will see with all reviews, red lipstick or a red shade that flows well with your skin color. Simple jewelry. I wore pearl earrings and a very simple pearl strand necklace. Limit the rings you have on your hand. Remember-less is more! Keep it classy and simple. It's important you look the part for this interview as well as for this position! Be aware of the lighting and positioning of your camera. Natural light is always nice. Make sure the background of your video (wherever you may be interviewing) is kept clean & tidy, no distractions, as well as in a quiet room. Your posture is also very important. Sit up and try not to slouch. Read, study, and prepare yourself before going into interview. Most questions can be found on Glassdoor. It is worth the time to research! I highly recommend this! Take deep breathes, be yourself. SMILE! The whole video interview took about 20 minutes or so. It's now been a little over a week and a half since my video submission.
