Interview
I submitted my online application and received an email 24 hours later that they wanted to give me an online interview. I had five days to complete it. I took the interview on the fourth day. I researched and made sure that I had knowledge of the questions that they asked. The online interview was a little awkward for me, I feel that I would have done better if having a face-to-face interview. I have not heard anything back from united airlines as of yet

They asked questions about how you handled things in certain situations that were work related
On-demand virtual interview, 1:1 virtual interview, F2F interview day w/ group activities. Nothing was tricky, but it took about 1.5 months in total. There is also a language exam for those applying to a speaker position.

Why do you want to be a flight attendant for united?
Pre recorded interview you get 2 minutes to prepare and it is a total of 8 questions. It gives you about 2 minutes to answer the questions as well and it’s important to use the STAR method.

Customer service, passport, training and flexibility
5 Step process, several stages of vetting. Application, assessment, pre-recorded interview, live virtual interview, in person interview. Hardest was in person interview. Practice STAR format. They check to make sure you pass the tattoo requirements several times throughout. Also valid passport as well as background check and DOT drug test.
