I applied in the summer of 2011 because i was told united and continental were merging and were going to hire many new flight attendants. I got an email in January of 2012 that said I might be contacted to set up and interview. Sure enough, a few days later I got an email to call. I called the specified number, that was very hard to get through, and they helped me select a date. The email said be prepared to stay all day, and that is would be a group interview.

5 Step process, several stages of vetting. Application, assessment, pre-recorded interview, live virtual interview, in person interview. Hardest was in person interview. Practice STAR format. They check to make sure you pass the tattoo requirements several times throughout. Also valid passport as well as background check and DOT drug test.
