      Flight Attendant Interview

      Oct 30, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines in Oct 2018

      Interview

The process went very well! I had my video interview last september and had my in-person interview on the second week of october. It was really unexpected for me to get invited in my f2f because I totally bombed my video interview. But they still invited me to go to Houston. First, they’ll gonna give you a brief introduction about the airlines. The pros and cons of being a flight attendant. And at the end of the presentation, you will be allowed to ask them any questions. It’s ok if you don’t think of any, but feel free to stand up and ask them if you have anything you wanna know :) Second, there’s 4 recruiters going in to the presentation room. Each of the recruiters have 3 names with them & you’ll gonna go with them. And then you will wait to the room with other candidates while the recruiter that is assigned to you is inteviewing one of the candidate that they randomnly pick. Third, when you passed the first interview you will wait for another room with other candidates. Just talk with them and make yourself relax! And lastly, your name will be called again & you will be interviewed by the supervisor and flight attendant again. That’s the last interview you’ll gonna have. And that’s the time that you need to showcase everything about yourself! Because they will be the one who will be deciding if they will hire you or not. You will be asked if you are willing to comply with the uniform policies. And ask you why do you want to become a flight attendant or why should we hire you. After it, they will make you step out of the room while making the decision and call you again maybe after 5 minutes & then you’ll know it made it or not. Best tip that I can give is just to BE YOURSELF. Don’t over impress them with your f2f interview. Just show them how genuine you are. Show your excitement and joy to work in their company. Make them feel that this is your passion & you’ll go a lot further than this! Be positive when you get there. Don’t let your nervousness get along while being interview. And the last advice that I can give is to SMILE ALL THE TIME. While being interview, just relax and answer everything with a smile on your face. Show them how warmth you are.
