Question 1
what are the current industry trends or which is the last article you read?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2012
Interview
I was contacted by HR as they had my resume on file from past job applications. HR representative scheduled a phone call between us that day, which took about 25 minutes and went over basic information (why I'm searching, what my salary requirements would be, how I felt about Chicago, etc.). I was then scheduled for a final interview with the hiring manager and another departmental manager in Willis Tower the following week. Interview was pretty straightforward, with an explanation of the position's responsibilities, 6 behavioral questions, and then any questions I had. I then took an 8 question math test, for which I was allotted an hour for. After that, they showed me out, and said they'd get back to me in a few weeks.

Question 1
I got one of those off the wall "to see how you think" kind of questions. Hiring manager asked for me to go about telling him that the table in the corner of the room wasn't blue (it was wooden). Didn't expect it to say the least.
