      Ramp Service Employee Interview

      Jan 19, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines in May 2015

      Interview

Overall it is an easy job interview, one on one interview. I applied online and most of the time will get phone calls from HR regarding the e-mail and applications. Airline, US Customs does extensive background check mostly criminal. Every ramp service employee is required to go through a drug test, background check, strength test. Alot of paper work to sign and send in, also required is US Post Office background check because airline deals with US Postal mail. It takes a while for background check so can take a few weeks. Then after accepting the job offer, you have more paper work to sign and agree to follow United Airlines guidelines. Then HR will tell you your first day and will transfer your information to the training department which will contact you to start your career with United Airlines.
