I applied through college or university. I interviewed at United Airlines (Kurukshetra) in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview started with an introduction then it headed towards resume and intern discussion then they focussed on technical skills and asked basic questions about SQL and Python and one basic code in python
It was decent. Interviewer was not super prepared. Asked behavioral questions and technical questions and then allowed me time to ask questions. This was a 2 rounds of interviews. It was virtually and was with a team.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at United Airlines in Jan 2024
Interview
I received an email with a recruiter to schedule a screening. When the time arrived, she was 30 minutes late. I emailed to follow up and was told I would receive a call in about 15 more minutes. I never received a call. I asked to reschedule to a different day. On the day of the reschedule, she was again over an hour late. When I did eventually talk to her over the phone, I was told I would hear back from her in about 48 hours if they decided to continue the interview process and I never heard back from her again.
I was very disappointed in this lack of professionalism. I was excited about the idea of joining United Airlines. I have a few acquaintances that work for United and really enjoy their jobs. I was excited about the opportunity and felt left behind and overlooked and like I never got an actual chance at the job.
