I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in Jun 2015
Interview
First applied online, received assented
Assessment and then got accepted to do the first interview. I interviewed via hirevue online which can be stressful but if you research and prep the questions before you'll be fine.
After got invited to go to the face to face interview. I flew to Newark and there were about 25 of us... We watched a video then got pulled from the room one by one. Interviewed individually mostly scenario type customer service questions. Then I got asked to such around to talk to some other people. Not everyone got this far. I then waited to be called again and then talked to two different higher up people. I thought I did pretty good with it all but I left and they said they'd contact me in five to seven days. The next day I received an email that I didn't get it. Guess I wasn't what they were looking for.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
