Long wait in between next steps, not uncommon in the industry. The hiring manager did take the time to communicate progress very transparently. Which made a difference. That person is no longer with the company however, and due to lack of uniformity and structure in the hiring process across the organization, more often than not, in the three years that I wound up working for this organization, I would see talented candidates for other open positions drop off due to the length of time.
