Interview
It was a video interview. A video recording of a person asking a question then 30 seconds to think about the question and 3 minutes to answer. The interview was five questions and around 10 minutes long. There were no second chances when answering. They stressed to be yourself and relax and let your personality show. The process was different than what I've experienced before, not bad, just different. I'm determined to keep trying.

Completed a 30min interview with a recruiter. Was given specific timelines for next steps including outreach by the hiring manager within 2 days. He made sure to state he would also follow up regarding final decisions or changes. I reached out when the hiring manager hadn’t contacted me. The recruiter then told me the job was dissolved and given to someone internally. (It had dissolved in the span of 2 days after being open online on job boards for several weeks.)

The process took about 1 week. Submitted application, was contacted by a recruiter the same day, had brief phone screening with the recruiter that same day. Recruiter asked basic questions about my resume and experience, explained the position, and asked if I was still interested. Had a more formal phone interview one week later. Interview was about 45 minutes long. Learned a lot about the company and the program I was applying for, and got the opportunity to ask questions.
