telephonic and in person interview with the senior medical director and then 1:1 interviews with three other medical directors. Routine interview questions asked. Not very formal. Minimum insight given into the United Healthcare culture. The senior medical director had very little insight as well.

Submitted an application on line and could not completely upload my resume. Received an email about 24 hours later to set up a telephone interview with someone from Human Resources in Minneapolis. Had a good conversation but because the resume wasn't uploaded it seemed like she wasn't familiar with my background at all.

Overall, the interview process with United HealthGroup was professional and organized. Mine was a telecommuter position, and interviews were conducted over the phone. United HealthGroup manages these interviews very well, and a representative group of individuals were selected who could provide me with different perspectives on their work within the company.
