It was a round-robin style interview where you would be interviewed by multiple functional teams. This was very beneficial because not only was I able to figure out which area and team I would fit best, but I could also see how each team would contribute to larger projects. The entire process included 6 interviews with both senior and associate employees, which lasted about 3 hours. Everybody was incredibly welcoming and extremely helpful in explaining job descriptions as well as job expectations. You can definitely tell that the company is very invested in interns in terms of grooming to better prepare us from the career regardless of which team you are in.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Universal Health Services, Inc. (King of Prussia, PA) in Mar 2024
Interview
Applied through employee referral. Recruiter said they'd get back to me by early February. Didn't respond until mid-March (until my referral contacted them again). Recruiter call went fine. Had a virtual interview with 4 engineers from the company but two bailed last minute and was stuck with two engineers that weren't even from the location I intended to work at. Interviewers weren't even sure of what questions to ask me. Ghosted afterwards. There seems to be a level of unprofessionalism going on here.
