I interviewed at Universal Health Services, Inc. (Las Vegas, NV)
Interview
The HR and hiring manager communicated clearly throughout the process. Although I didn't get the job, I was pleased with the experience and how the process was handled. I recommend the place.
Very easy process. Very simple interview. Good onboarding process and plenty of training opportunities. Put in the application and was contacted the next week. Went in for interview and met with nursing staff. Very simple.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Universal Health Services, Inc. (Round Rock, TX) in Mar 2010
Interview
A friend of mine had been working for UHS in their San Antonio offices. I was looking for a job in the Austin area so he said he could try to get my foot in the door with an interview at their Round Rock location. Within a short period of time I was contacted via e-mail by a manager and after a few e-mails and phone calls we scheduled an interview time. During the interview process, the manager spoke very little about what my actual job duties would be in this position. He showed me around the facility, which was basically just a front office and a small warehouse in the back for inventory. Most of the interview was actually taken up by him talking about himself and his various accomplishments. At the end of the interview he said that I sounded like I was great for this position and that he would call me later this week to start the employment paper work. Well, a week passed and I didn't hear from him. A called and left messages but he never returned any of my calls or e-mails. I contacted my friend and he said he would look into it for me. My friend called back saying that apparently my position had never been approved by the manager's superiors, but he went ahead and started interviewing candidates without his superiors' blessing. I was pretty pissed that this man had wasted my time and did not even have the courtesy to return my calls to inform me that there was no job available. A few weeks later my friend informed me that this manager was fired for unrelated causes. Good Riddance.
