don't let anyone intimidate you or tell you what you can or can not handle., no matter what they describe the work load or how the environment may be. It was fast, the departments that need you most will defiantly contact you sooner than later. Thank you letters as well as cover letters help you make you look good even without the interview so highly recommend sending those in even if it isn't recommended.
