I was referred by an employee and completed a phone interview with the hiring manager a week later. I was invited to a full day of interviews on site, including meetings with 7 team members. After the interviews I was told that I would hear back within a week regarding a decision or next steps. I didn't not hear anything back so I reached out and was told that they needed another week to make their decision. Another week past and I did not receive any communication from their internal recruiter, so I reach out to check the status of the position. I was told that they needed an additional week and would keep me.posted on "any new developments". We are now 3.5 weeks out from my on site interview and I have not received any follow up. This is extremely disapointing as most of the people I met we're fantastic...this is clearly a result of lack of process (or empathy) from their HR/Recruiting department. When candidates take the time to participate in your recruitment process, you should at least close the loop.
