Interview
Apply online. There is a personality quiz that takes forever. They take this seriously. Answer as a team player.
HR will call you and ask you how much you make and want. They'll ask why you are seeking a change.
Majority of the 2020-2021 hires have no hospital CM experience. The people hired after me: came from bedside, owned a daycare (worked in a hospital a long time ago), stay at home wife (RN). If you have CM experience, you will probably get a job offer.
Your first interview will be with director. He talks so much. The interview is him talking and needing an audience, more than it is about you and your experience. If you're an active listener, meaning letting director talk, he'll likely like you and you'll get invited to a peer interview.
He has already coached the group on the peer interview to accept you. They actually get penalized if they say anything negative.
HR will do job offer by phone. If you accept, there is a drug test and background check.

Interview
The hiring process was pretty efficient. Human resources was professional and appropriate. Right after applying online, I got a call within a few weeks. After the in person interview, I had to do a phone interview with a series of questions. They are pretty much yes or no responses (with some short answer), but it is kind of like a personality test to see if you would be appropriate for the job. A lot of the answers are common sense. Ex."What would you do if you saw an employee doing something wrong?" "How would you handle a disagreement with your supervisor?" etc.
