I recently interviewed for a position at VISEO in Casablanca and my experience was extremely disappointing. Despite investing a lot of time and energy into three rounds of interviews, I was met with a level of unprofessionalism that is unacceptable, especially in 2024. The recruiter disappeared without any updates after the interviews, and the hiring manager, who had promised to get back to me within one or two weeks, failed to do so. It was only after nearly four weeks of waiting and having to reach out directly to the hiring manager that I received any feedback. Instead of a clear and timely response, I was handed off to another recruiter who informed me that they had not received the go-ahead from the client and were unsure how to negotiate the salary I had requested. This explanation came far too late and after I had already missed out on other potential opportunities due to their lack of communication. I believe that I deserved timely updates and honest communication throughout the process. Ghosting candidates and neglecting to provide feedback shows a lack of respect and professionalism. For anyone considering a position here, be prepared for a potentially frustrating and unprofessional hiring process.
