Going through the whole recruiting process was very pleasant but once I got to the school things took a turn. They did not honor the position that I applied for and instead interviewed me for a different position altogether (despite me stating disinterest in that position over the phone) I definitely felt like they were wasting my time but I still stuck the interview out since I went out of my way to go there. The "panel" of middle school personnel seemed unprofessional. During my demo lesson they literally began acting like Kindergarteners, which I suppose is telling of the behaviors their middle schoolers display in school (2nd red flag). The questioning part of the interview was never ending and unorganized. I have interviewed at other charter schools, this is the first one that did not have a target list of questions prepared. Instead, for what felt like 2 hours, I was asked repetitive, trivial questions that were just being created on the spot from the man staring at my resume. It was just terrible.
