A long process consisting of:
Phone screen, hiring manager screen, take-home assignment (design a product from the ground up, everything from mission/strategy to design to launch), 2 product sense/product design interviews, 1x operations, and 1x engineering interview. Most PMs are ex FAANG so I believe they expected the FAANG product sense/design frameworks. Overall comms w recruiter was a slow.
Overall seemed like elite PM/Enge employees but everyone I interviewed seemed very tired -- I got the sense they were worked to the bone. Seemed like a great place to grow and develop but seemed like a very intense environment.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Design a new financial product, provide a ~5 page report detailing the plan
Recruiter, HM, eng manager (walk me through a technical product you worked on, behavioral questions), product sense.
Take home assignment very relevant to the position I was applying for. Write a PRD for stakeholders.
Then virtual on site - review PRD with HM, analytics case study
The whole process spanned 3 months and I enjoyed my conversations with the entire time. Very talented, humble and smart folks. Only bummer was not receiving any feedback but being told I would get a follow up, especially after speaking with the team over a long period of time and the time commitment for the take home.
