Interview
The first round is a phone screen with HR that consists mostly of behavioral questions. They are very big on the STAR method at Vanguard and really like answers that closely follow those guidelines. Most of their questions are about experiences working in a group. If you are interested in the investment management internship, there are some technical questions (see below). Then, the second round is a full day at Vanguard that consists of two one-on-one interviews, a group interview/discussion, and activities to get you acquainted with the company (tour, lunch with former interns, etc.).
Simple process. Went through Drexel with the co-op program. One phone call and then one in person interview with direct manager and then a week later received the offer. Pretty straight forward. Great company and good people.
The process spanned 3 rounds. First was resume and technical questions. Second was coding DSA and regressions. Third was research questions. Overall people were very nice, the process went smooth and fairly quickly.

Interview
Very chill, just behavior questions. Asked me about my communication style, what courses/knowledge of data science/machine learning that I had. Why I wanted to work in finance. It was very enjoyable/conversational.
