I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Vanguard (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2019
Interview
Had a brief interview and met with both the hiring manager and someone on the team. I was told I would hear back shortly within a couple of weeks and nothing happened. What a waste of time. I'll never apply there again. Very unprofessional.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Vanguard
Interview
The interview was conducted in a number of rounds, all in person - first HR, then line manager, followed by teammates, and couples to follow I assume (since they found a more suitable candidate afterwards).
The HR already briefed that their hiring process takes quite a while cause they want to ensure both the company and the candidate is confident in joining their team, so they normally arrange not only the HR and line manager, but also other department heads or teammates that would be working closely with the position.
