Workday application, Senior Recruiter Phone Screener*2, Virtual Remote Interview with Microsoft Teams 1vs1, offer, negotiation, acceptance. This was also my second interview with the firm, as I had previously interviewed for another role at another time.
The first time I interviewed the process was ok however the 2nd time I was very impressed. The first time the PA and AZ interviewers were disorganized and the technology did not work well. However they completely redeemed themselves for another role and I'm glad because I had always heard so many great things about Vanguard.
The 2nd time around, the workday process, telephone screener, and "in-person" virtual interview were terrific. The recruiter was thorough, patient, and highly communicative. Whether it was a role/department/benefits question, the recruiting team was very responsive.
The phone screener was very personable and welcoming. The questions followed the STAR format and allowed for good discussion.
The in-person interview went very well as the recruiter invited all candidates to attend an informational session about the organization prior to formal interviewing. She explained the culture, roles, history, and success of the organization. This really helped candidates to prepare for their in-person but also allowed them to discover the company. It was really well put together especially during COVID-19.
The in-person/virtual teams interview was a little different as we were both in our homes. The interviewer was direct and positive. Some questions were more challenging regarding sharing results and why move now however this allowed for a more holistic candidate experience. Overall out of all the interviews I've been on it was about average difficulty and I had a great experience throughout my 2nd job interviewing process with the organization
