I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vanguard in Dec 2020
Interview
Contacted by HR to arrange an interview, 45 minute interview with 2 people. This is probably the most disgusting interview I have had in my life and I urge anyone not to waste your time with Vanguard, Jack Bogle would be turning in his grave if he found out what these 2 people were up to. Basically they had selected another candidate before the interview and essentially wasted my time in the interview and with providing them a document. I know this because I was far overqualified for the role and had delivered a good interview. This is what destroys a company, Vanguard you have put your reputation into the gutter.

Question 1
STAR based questions and other questions to waste time.
They started with a preliminary interview with HR before having my interview with team specific hiring managers. The preliminary interview consisted of walking through my resume and prior experience. The team specific interviews were more knowledge based, but overall not very difficult. If you already have a background with transferrable skills, you should be able to speak to them easily for 30 minutes. It was a very conversational interview experience
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Vanguard in Jan 2024
Interview
Poor communication from HR and very rude and cocky interviewers. 2 months and still no news or outcome after final interview from HR. Requested for an update but no responses.
The lady in the final stage was very cocky and showed zero interests during the interview. Massive red flag. Dodged a bullet.
