The candidate experience left a lot to be desired. Similar to another poster, my resume was a perfect match to the job posting. I applied directly online and received an automated rejection email a week later. Oh well - I moved on. Flash forward a week and a half and I was reached out to directly by the hiring manager and then put in contact with the recruiter. I had informed the team that I was already in final rounds with some other companies - so they expedited and booked me immediately. - 30 min recruiter screen - recruiter was 15 minutes late - 45 min SME interview - had a good connection here and was passed onto the next round. - soft skills assessment - three 30 min interviews with HR, hiring manager, and a peer. The interviews were a little stiff in that it felt every single question started with 'Tell me about a time when' with little expansion/or follow-ups asked of the scenarios. I was told that there would be other interviews, but I did not advance past this stage. Overall, I think that the company has some kinks that need to be worked out especially if their ATS is rejecting qualified candidates. The full recruiting steps felt a bit nebulous (e.g. how many rounds/steps there were). The soft skills assessment was also clearly used to grill me on the areas that I marked myself weakest (which is what I suspected they'd be used for), but was presented very differently by the recruiter.
