I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Varonis Systems (Raleigh, NC) in Jan 2019
Interview
30 minute phone call scheduled - took about 20 minutes. Interviewer was very careful to seem devoid of emotion. Interviewer was fair and willing to answer my questions. Not a bad experience.
The interview process was intense, but not overdone. I believe it was 3 rounds following a recruiter screening. The last round was challenging as I had no sales experience and had to do a mock cold call, with no training. This was scary but, they aren't looking for perfection, just solid traits that can be trained up
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Varonis Systems (Cork) in Jun 2021
Interview
HR interview. Questions about my previosu work experience TL interview with HR. How do I organise myself day to day TL interview with his manager. How do I see myself in a few years ? Do I want to continue in sales? Why do I like sales?
We had an informal phone call to discuss the position and the company as a whole. The call was about 20 minutes long, and not very helpful. The representative gave me an overview of what the company does, and of the salary expectations. When I brought up negative reviews I saw online, she was very defensive, would not directly answer my questions, and blamed the employees who wrote the reviews for their bad experience. I, personally, would not enjoy working for an employer who thinks they can do no wrong, and uses lower level employees as the "fall guys".
