Veeco Instruments interview questions

Interview was ok. Questions range from understanding your experience as relates to them to seeing what it would be like to work with you. Some keyword based questions. People are straightforward about company goals/atmosphere and you get to meet everyone. Production floor is diverse. Once you get onsite for interview, company will waste no time in letting you know if they want to hire or not, under 7 days. But they will give you ~4 or so days to review and accept Recruiters can be proactive, asking target pay range before pushing through formal offer. Received benefits information with the offer letter. Benefits seem to be ok, 10 holidays, as needed sick time, 15 personal holidays accrued over time (and more days added with tenure) Offer rescinded due to reference check.*** ***If you interview here, be sure to update references that they have to rate nearly 30 skills from 1-7, and anything under a 6 may be seen as cause to rescind the offer. Also make sure youre ok with survey questions as they relate to your role level.
