I applied through college or university. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Veeva Systems (Columbus, OH) in Nov 2021
Interview
A half-hour interview with HR to get acquainted and to give you information about the process. An hour-long Candidate Exercise, arguably the hardest interview, for which you will be given a business case that needs to be translated into a solution that you are going to implement using Veeva’s software. The interview is essentially a workshop in which you have to pretend the interviewers are the client and you are presenting them with the solution to their needs. It’s a small presentation and a demo of the program with the personalized changes you made. You are given 7–10 days to prepare and the work you do during this time will be a very close approximation to what you will be doing day-to-day if you get the job, so keep that in mind when making your decision. They are not looking for perfect, but if you don’t enjoy the work then maybe you should reconsider taking the job. A 1.5 hour long interview with the hiring manager. This is you basic interview based on your CV and what they want to know about you. A 45-minute interview with senior management, in my case the global director of Generation Veeva (this is the umbrella that encompasses all the graduate programs). An hour-long cultural interview with someone already working in the position you are applying for. This is your chance to find out anything you want about life at Veeva, whether it be more concrete things about the job, or the perks and extracurriculars that make the company a place that you want to work at. I’d say this is the most informal interview.
long, 6 interviews to get rejected after a personality test as the final round. The second round was a technical assessment, after which I had 4 more rounds with different people asking me pretty similar questions.
It was informal, quick and friendly, interview was around 30-45 minutes. Interview was given before the personality test. Personality test was quite exhausting, long and difficult. Replied to emails very quickly.
I applied online. I interviewed at Veeva Systems in May 2026
Interview
final stage was a one-on-one interview with team member. split into 3 parts - first part was a deep dive into your motivations for the role etc, second part was a chance to talk about yourself and third part was more general interview questions (give an example of how you demonstrated good teamwork, had to give feedback etc).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
why this role? why not a lab based role? they ask this question in many different ways until they're satisfied with your answer and they feel like they understand your motivations
