Completed a self video interview and was told they liked my profile but salary expectations need to be lowered in order to continue. I said yes this is fine. Then I received no response unless I followed up weekly myself just be told things like "the process is taking longer" and "we have a lot of candidates". Finally, today I received the generic automated email that they will be proceeding with other candidates. I am quite disappointed in the lack of transparency with Veo. Why ask me if I'd like to continue if you're not going to actually move me forward? Seems the recruiter was just buying time.
