I was initially sent a letter of denial followed by a personalized email from the hiring manager expressing that the denial may have been a brash choice and wanted to get to know me better. I had an interview scheduled over the phone with the Hiring Manager out of Illinois and that went well and took approximately 20 minutes. After that I received communications that they would like to have me meet the local manager from the dispensary I was applying for, in person. We went to a Starbucks and spent about 45 minutes discussing my interest in the position, my understanding of cannabis, and some of my history revolving around my professional understanding of this industry. The I am now awaiting to hear back from the Hiring Manager regarding next steps. Still awaiting an offer or denial.

Received an e-mail to set up a phone interview, worked out a time about 4 days later and about 10 minutes before our call time I got an e-mail that they were going to be unable to make the call. I emailed back 2-3 times over the coarse of 2 weeks to try and reschedule another time to sit down and have a talk and I got no responses back.
