I applied online. I interviewed at Verimatrix (San Diego, CA) in Nov 2016
Interview
Overall, it is smooth. However, the respond from them was kinda slow. I have to wait for two days to schedule an interview with them. But, overall, it was an amazing experience speaking with Verimatrix's representatives.
Had three technical interviews with three separate people and they were all very fair. Questions covered typical programming, software design, and quality assurance. The questions were difficult enough to weed out inexperienced candidates, but not too difficult to make you feel like you are inadequate as an engineer.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verimatrix in Apr 2019
Interview
The interviewer asked various questions ranging from Linux to programming. Protocol handshake, design and implementation of product. It was pretty ok but some questions were a bit vague as in those questions were not structured properly which confuses the candidate on which area of answer the interviewer wants.
