I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Savannah, GA) in Jun 2009
Interview
I was already an employee with the company. The position was announced internally shortly after the Alltel merger was completed and the Savannah offices were established. Because I was already in the program to become a trainer with Alltel I was encouraged to apply for the position. After completing new hire and new product training myself I was scheduled to sit in and review the trainings I received not as a participant. I then was interviewed by the regional training manager then the regional HR manager. After almost two weeks I was told that the position was not going to be filled.
