Interview
1. Initial phone screen with recruiter
2. Phone screen with a sales manager
3. Interview panel with 2 sales managers and the Director of Sales. Prospecting presentation.
The recruiter I worked with was incredibly helpful and involved. From start to finish she touched base to make sure I had all my questions answered and was prepared for what was coming next.
The Sales Managers were all very transparent about what defines success for them and for a prospective rep, and seemed passionate about both the organization/product and their teams.
The Director of Sales was another highlight - super personable guy. He was very open about what's expected of their reps and how the most successful ones achieved those goals.
The huge volume of lay offs due to COVID-19 has made the candidate pool extremely competitive - but you already know that. They made it abundantly clear that there is a line around the block waiting for a seat on their sales floor. My advice: Come into this interview process as polished and buttoned up as you can, know your past numbers and deals to a 't' and put in the time to crush the prospecting demo.

Highly unethical interview tactics, deceptive advertising, the bro-est bro culture possible
I didn’t pursue further into the interview process because it was evident they have a lot of ethical and cultural issues internally.
Met with team at Verkada Sales Career Day Spoke with a few members of the team who mentioned they would connect me with the proper contacts Talked a ton about how this is a great fit for my skillset and career goals so it seemed like a great start to the interview process. Was excited to explore careers with Verkada. Tried reaching out to contacts I was referred to - no reply. Have tried following up multiple times with initial recruiter and have just been ghosted. Have reached out at least 3 times since and haven't received even a single message since meeting in person may 5th.... I don't know why someone would do this! Overall, if you are looking to use your time efficiently or if your job search is urgent at all, I would avoid this place.
