Interview
Someone from the company reached out to me, and I scheduled a video call.
When I show up to the call, my interviewer is not there. After 5 minutes past the scheduled time, I leave.
At 10 minutes past the scheduled time, my interviewer tells me he is now in the video call. He does not even bother acknowledging or apologizing for the fact he was late.
I ignored it. If a interviewer cannot respect your time, I find that indicative of the company culture.
Apply elsewhere.

Interview
Only had the first round of interviews so far which went really well. The hiring recruiter was very nice and easy to talk to. I was informed during this interview that I will move to the next interview which I am very excited for.

Question 1
They asked about my interest with Verkada and my background.
Everything was explained beforehand, no surprise. The whole process was very clear, very detailed. The goal is not to trick you, but to test you in a normal environment. It’s a 4 round process, the last one is onsite. Everyone is really nice and welcoming.
Yeah, the screening was very easy. Just asked why I am interested and what I want to do in the future of my life. I have not done the tech interview I am filling this out so I can see what other people say. I hope I do well!!
